About
Drop & View is a small, browser-based viewer for inspecting 3D models without installing a desktop application. Drop a model onto the start screen, or choose it with the file picker, and explore it interactively.
System requirements
Drop & View runs in a modern browser with JavaScript and WebGL support. No account or server-side upload is required.

How to use
- Drop an .fbx, .gltf or .glb file onto the start screen, or choose Open File.
- Drag to orbit around the model and scroll or pinch to zoom.
- Switch between perspective and axonometric views.
- Use the style controls to inspect the original, white, hidden-line, wireframe or black-and-white view.
- Open Controls to adjust the light, shadows and section plane.
Sections and inspection
The section tool reveals the inside of a model along the X, Y or Z axis. You can move or flip the section plane, choose a cut colour and turn section filling on or off.
The Controls panel also shows basic model statistics, including the loaded model's structure and geometry information.
Privacy
Drop & View processes the selected model in your browser. The app does not require an account and does not upload your model to a developer-operated server.
Three.js is loaded from jsDelivr to provide the 3D viewer. The browser may request that library from the network when the app starts.
